Dr. Thompson, renowned psychologist and best-selling author, delivers a warm-hearted, expert recipe for providing children with an internal foundation for moral behavior through his unique blend of anecdotes, clinical experience and detailed research on the outcomes of different parenting styles. Michael Thompson, PhD is a consultant, author and psychologist specializing in children and families. He is the clinical consultant to The Belmont Hill School and has worked in more than five hundred schools in the US and abroad. He and his co-author, Dan Kindlon, wrote the New York Times best-selling book, Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys.
