Rebecca is now in her second year as co-president and her fourth on the Parent Talk Board of Directors. A career marketer, Rebecca became involved with Parent Talk to nurture her need to connect with the local community. Parent Talk provided her just the right opportunity to combine her professional and personal passions while giving back to families with young children in West Suburban Boston. In addition to her involvement with Parent Talk, Rebecca serves on the membership committee of the MIT Enterprise Forum and an Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Professionally, Rebecca fuels her zeal for early stage companies through her marketing consulting practice, T4 Advisory. Rebecca's favorite pastime is her family. She and her husband, Nino, are raising their three children in Needham where they have lived since 2001. |

Alison and her husband, Matt, grew up in Needham. Prior to staying home with her daughter and son, Alison was a high school math teacher in the Wellesley and Sharon Public Schools. In addition to volunteering for Parent Talk, Alison spends time volunteering for the Needham Community Council and tutoring high school math students. Prior to serving on the Parent Talk board, Alison co-chaired Parent Talk's Used Clothing, Toy & Equipment Sale and volunteered for many of Parent Talk's outreach initiatives. |

Kristine is currently serving a second year as Parent Talk's Treasurer. She joined Parent Talk in 2006 after moving to Needham with her husband Brian and their two daughters. Kristine has over 15 years of investment banking experience, specializing in mergers & acquisitions, and continues to work on a consulting basis for a Boston-based boutique investment bank. Her interests include reliving her childhood with her daughters, scuba diving, running, reading, and traveling. |

Amy has lived in Needham with her husband and two children since 2006. In 2004, she founded MW Advisory, a consulting business through which she assists early stage life science companies with strategic marketing and business development. Prior to starting her business, she was VP Marketing for Athena Diagnostics (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific). In addition to her involvement with Parent Talk, Amy serves on the Board of Overseers for the Museum of Science and as an alumni interviewer for Brown University. She enjoys running, photography and trying to keep up with her kids! |

Rachel has lived in Needham with her family since 2006. In addition to chairing the Marketing Committee, Rachel works part-time in policy advocacy consulting for non-profits and has a background in public health and marketing. Rachel enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband, traveling, writing, reading and keeping up with her Entertainment Weekly subscription. Prior to chairing the Marketing Committee, Rachel volunteered as the Publicity Coordinator. |

Katie was born and raised in Needham, MA and moved back into town five years ago with her husband and two children. She is currently in her third year as chairperson of the lecture committee. Katie, a career educator, has taught 5th grade in public schools in Massachusetts, California, and New York State. Most recently she worked as a senior research associate on a national math project at the Education Development Center in Newton. In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and working out. |

Lisa has called Needham home with her husband Steven and two children since 2006. Lisa is a first grade teacher at the Broadmeadow Elementary School in Needham. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys reading, sailing, and baking. Prior to co-chairing community relations, Lisa volunteered with the membership committee. |

Becky has lived in Needham with her husband, Brian, for nearly a decade, but they became much more involved in the community when they became parents five years ago. Prior to having children, Becky worked in education, primarily as a career counselor at several Boston area colleges and universities. Interests include gardening, hiking, biking, skiing, theater, travel, and foreign languages. |

Ryan, his wife Karen, and their three children have lived in Needham since 2004. Together with a partner, Ryan founded and manages two Needham based businesses: Precision Properties, a full service real estate brokerage, and Hawthorn Investments, a real estate contracting and development company. Ryan is new to the Parent Talk board in 2009 and brings a background of sales, business development, and business administration to the role of Fundraising Chair. |

Shelly, her husband Charlie and two young daughters have lived in Needham for almost three years. Shelly became involved in Parent Talk shortly after the birth of her second child and has enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the local community through her role chairing the communications committee. Prior to becoming a full-time mom, Shelly's professional career included work in marketing and product management in the financial services industry. She enjoys golfing, tennis, reading, and spending time with her large extended family. |

Kate moved to Needham two years ago with her husband and daughter. She works part-time in reinsurance and enjoys spending time on the beach, running, and cooking. Kate decided to become involved with Parent Talk as a way of meeting new people and giving back to the community. Her initial Parent Talk involvement came with Parent Talk's Used Clothing, Toy & Equipment Sale; more recently Kate joined the board. Not only has the organization provided many friendships but also provided a wealth of information about MetroWest's numerous offerings for families with young children. |

Needham has been home to Gretchen, her husband Ryan, two children, and their dog since 2007. Gretchen's professional experience includes work in human resources, recruiting, and financial services. In her spare time, (ha! what's that?) Gretchen enjoys heated games of scrabble, beach time, sewing, and trips to visit faraway friends. Prior to co-chairing events, Gretchen volunteered with Parent Talk's Used Clothing, Toy & Equipment Sale, the fundraising committee, and Casino Night. |

Heather has lived with her husband, Kirby, and two sons in Needham since 2006. Heather's professional experience includes work in business research, account management, development, and clinical social work. In her spare time, Heather enjoys writing, singing, and attending concerts and performances with her family. Prior to co-chairing Community Relations, Heather served as Marketing Chair, volunteered with Parent Talk's Used Clothing, Toy & Equipment Sale and has also been involved in the development of the organization's new website. |

Ally has lived in Needham since 2006. After graduating from Boston College's Carroll School of Management in 2000, Ally spent 6 years as a Human Resources Manager in the Biotech Industry. In her spare time, Ally enjoys golfing and spending time with her husband, Victor, and two young sons. Prior to co-chairing Events, Ally served as Parent Talk's Fundraising Co-Chair and Mom's Night Out Coordinator. |
